Opening in Summer 2013, the Santa Barbara Public Market will feature independent, best-in-class food and wine merchants. Current purveyors include il Fustino oils & vinegars, Enjoy Cupcakes, Flagstone Pantry, The Pasta Shoppe and Foragers Pantry.
The Santa Barbara Public Market will be an important part of urban life in downtown Santa Barbara and a central place of exchange for commerce and community. The 15,000 square foot market will be comprised of artisan food and wine merchants showcasing Santa Barbara region farmers, wine makers and other providers of locally produced food. The very best regional and seasonal foods will be sold, including meats, poultry, seafood, cheese, fresh produce, flowers, bread and baked goods, olive oils, and other specialty items like chocolate and ice cream. The Santa Barbara Public Market is part of the mixed-use Alma del Pueblo development, which includes 37 residential condominium units.
